  • Mix one part of powdered sugar with one part of baking soda. You can take as much as you need. But the portion must be 1:1.
  • Then mix them together in the jar lid. It is proved that ants cannot make differentiate between powdered sugar and baking soda as they look similar.
  • Sugar attracts the ants and baking soda reacts with their digestive system and kills them.
  • Place the mixture where you assume as the strategic area and have some patience for the deed of baking soda.
  • A jar lid or something like that can be used for containing the bait. Just place it where the ants are visibly prevalent.

Boric acid is not a commonly found ingredient in the house as like as sugar. Though it cannot be found in your house, it can be used for a successful natural ant killer when mixed with baking soda. It has been accepted widely that boric acid has a significant role in insecticide control.

Caution: Borax is very toxic to humans and pets. Keep the solution out of children’s reach.

Boric is a highly toxic acid in nature. You must handle it with precautionary measures and stay away with bare hands.

You can dissolve sugar in water and mix the same amount of baking soda in it. Then use peanut butter or regular butter and jelly or honey in this mixture. After mixing one spoon of boric acid into this food mixture makes it a two percent solution.

If you use sugar mixed water, add 8 spoons of water and one spoon of boric acid and baking soda. Make sure you label the leftover bait.

If you choose to make it receptacle, you can have a lot of options. You can use different jars with holes at the top of it. You can use a baby food jar with making holes at the top, cap of the bottle, drinking straws of 2 inches, and wax paper, or foil paper. Keep the mixture of baking soda, boric acid food mixture with the cotton balls at the top of the container.

Place the mixture directly where you see the line of ants. Most importantly, keep your children and pets away from the mixture as too much boric acid is harmful to health.
